How to solve the common faults of zinc spraying machine

Since many users use the zinc spraying machine for a long time, the machine may have a series of problems that affect the operation and productivity, so let's talk about the common faults of the equipment. If some problems can be solved by themselves, the efficiency will be improved, and it can also save a certain amount of time.


1. The coating particles are too coarse.

If the air pressure or flow is not enough, and the wire conveying speed is fast, it may be caused by the wrong air caliber matching, the spray is too far from the workpiece, and the air flow is close or too far from the intersection of the wire. The treatment method is generally to adjust the wire feeding speed switch and reduce the voltage of the arc spray gun. It is necessary to check the air management and compressor conditions, so that the air pressure or flow can be increased, the distance between the air spray gun and the workpiece can be changed, and the air riser can be adjusted so that the intersection point matches the air kick plate distance.


2. The arc is large and the wire splashes.

The working voltage of the zinc spraying machine is high. If the metal wire melts before entering the dissolution zone, it will cause large arc reflection and metal particles flying around. It will also cause the metal particles to be too large, the spray beam is not concentrated, the flow rate is not large, and the air pressure is low. The general solution is to increase the no-load voltage and adjust the air pressure and flow rate.


3. The arc is unstable.

It may be because the conductivity of the front conduit is worn, which makes the zinc sprayer conduct unstable, the no-load voltage is low, and the thermal energy of the wire is insufficient. Misalignment of the wire with the conductive nozzle can cause the wire feed roller to wear or the wire feed to slip; arc instability can also be caused by the airflow and wire focus not being adjusted properly. The solution is to replace the front conduit or electric nozzle of the arc sprayer. Adjust the no-load voltage to adjust the wire feed wheel, and replace the focal length of the air.


4. The spark point is not concentrated, and scattering bias occurs.

The reason is that there is metal splashing and blocking in the air flow of the zinc sprayer; the air expands the diameter or burns on one side. The treatment method is generally to remove the splash and replace the air cap.
